Role Overview

We are looking for a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to grow Opmaints presence across manufacturing, hospitality, automotive dealerships, and related industries. This is a field-focused role involving prospecting, qualifying leads, and initiating sales conversations with decision-makers.

The ideal candidate has prior experience selling solutions to manufacturers and is comfortable traveling across Chennai and other key manufacturing hubs.


Key Responsibilities
  • Identify, prospect, and qualify new business opportunities for Opmaint CMMS
  • Engage with plant heads, maintenance managers, operations heads, and facility managers
  • Conduct on-site visits, product presentations, and discovery meetings
  • Understand customer pain points related to maintenance, assets, and operations
  • Generate and nurture qualified leads for the sales pipeline
  • Collaborate closely with the sales and product teams to close deals
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and track sales activities
  • Travel regularly within Chennai and to nearby manufacturing hubs as required


Target Industries
  • Manufacturing (preferred and primary focus)
  • Hospitality (hotels, resorts, large facilities)
  • Automotive dealerships and service centers
  • Other asset-intensive industries


Required Qualifications & Experience
  • 14 years of experience in B2B sales or SDR roles
  • Prior experience selling to manufacturing companies is mandatory
  • Experience selling SaaS, CMMS, ERP, or industrial software is a strong plus
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with field sales and frequent travel
  • Ability to understand technical/operational problems and position software solutions
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented


Preferred Skills
  • Familiarity with maintenance operations, plant workflows, or asset management
  • Experience dealing with mid-size to large enterprises
  • Knowledge of CRM tools and structured sales processes
