About the role
As a key member of the team, a successful sales development representative must be
friendly and persuasive. Should have a string command over written and verbal English
communication. He must be able to understand the clients requirements in a short time and
present solutions that meet their needs. The ideal candidate will also be patient and cool
tempered to deal with aggressiveness and complaints.
Key Responsibilities
Cold call the clients using a given lead list
Answer incoming calls from prospective clients
Maintaining a deep knowledge of companys products and services
Work on obtaining and evaluating all relevant information to handle our product and service
inquiries to provide appropriate solutions to client's queries and doubts
Providing clients with comprehensive product/service consultations and guiding their decision
making process
Building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and existing clients
Use scripts to provide information about services, plans etc., and present their benefits
Ask pertinent questions to understand the clients requirements
Persuade the client for next level call with senior members of the team
Record the clients personal information accurately in a computer system
Go the extra mile to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
Keep records of calls and appointments and record useful information
Essential qualifications and skills
Possession of bachelors degree or PG and/or MBA would be a plus
Candidate should be ok to work in US hours (India Night) hours
Proven experience as tele sales representative or other sales/customer service role
Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone
Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Cool-tempered and able to handle rejection
Outstanding negotiation skill with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints
Required Experience:
Minimum of 1-1.5 years of International Voice Process
Excellent level of knowledge/expertise with PC, Internet Research and software (Word and
Excel)
