Sales Development Representative (SDR) First GTM Hire

Why this role
This is not a plug-and-play SDR role.
Youll be the first GTM hire at Adaptive, working directly with the founder to build pipeline, shape our outbound motion, and define how we sell. If you want ownership, fast growth, and real impact, this role puts you right at the center of it. There is a clear path to grow into AE or GTM leadership roles.
Adaptive is a venture-backed cybersecurity startup, backed by top investors and starting to see strong customer traction. We work with leading companies including Lenskart, CoinDCX, PolicyBazaar, M2P FinTech, Slice, and more.
What youll do
- Own outbound prospecting across email, LinkedIn, and calls
- Build and engage target accounts across FinTech, BFSI, SaaS, and regulated enterprises
- Run first-touch discovery and qualify leads into strong SQLs
- Convert inbound leads from partners, events, and marketing campaigns
- Book high-quality demos with Sales and Pre-Sales
- Maintain clean CRM data and track pipeline from MQL SQL Opportunity
- Support deals with partners, proposals, pricing, and basic RFPs
- Share real market feedback to help refine ICPs and messaging
Who you are
- 25 years experience in B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, or tech sales (SDR/BDR)
- Strong communicator with confidence on calls and in writing
- Comfortable with structured outreach and targets
- Hands-on with CRMs (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)
- Curious about cybersecurity and infrastructure
- High-ownership, execution-focused, and comfortable with ambiguity
