About the Company
Focus Softnet is expanding its enterprise sales team in Mumbai. We are looking for professionals who have sold software or IT solutions, understand consultative selling, and are comfortable owning targets end to end. This is a field-oriented, closure-driven role with exposure to ERP, CRM, HRMS, and AI solutions across industries.
About the Role
As a Software Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating new business, engaging with decision-makers, understanding customer processes, and positioning enterprise software solutions that solve real operational problems. You will manage the complete sales cycle from first contact to deal closure and handover.
Responsibilities
- Business development and lead generation
- Identify and qualify opportunities through cold calling, referrals, inbound leads, networking, and market research.
- Client engagement and discovery
- Engage with CXOs, finance heads, operations heads, and IT teams. Understand their current systems, challenges, and business goals.
- Product presentations and demos
- Present and demonstrate ERP, CRM, HRMS, and SCM solutions. Tailor demos based on industry and customer requirements.
- Requirement analysis
- Conduct structured discovery calls and meetings. Document requirements and success criteria.
- Proposal and commercial coordination
- Work with pre-sales and technical teams to prepare proposals, solution documents, and pricing.
- Sales cycle ownership
- Manage opportunities from first meeting to closure. Drive follow-ups, manage objections, and maintain deal momentum.
- Negotiation and closure
- Handle commercial discussions and close deals aligned to assigned targets.
- CRM discipline
- Maintain accurate pipeline, activity updates, and forecasting in the CRM system.
- Internal coordination
- Coordinate with marketing, implementation, and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
- Market awareness
- Stay updated on competitor offerings, pricing trends, and industry movements.
Qualifications
- 24 years of experience in software sales, IT solutions sales, or B2B sales.
- Exposure to ERP, CRM, HRMS, SCM, or enterprise platforms is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to understand business processes and translate them into solution value.
- Comfort working with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
- Self-driven, structured, and accountable for results.
- Willingness to travel locally within Mumbai and occasionally to client sites.
Preferred Skills
- Experience selling into Manufacturing, Retail, Supply Chain, or Healthcare.
- Good understanding of the Mumbai business and customer landscape.
- Exposure to social selling or digital prospecting.
Pay range and compensation package
CTC: INR 47 LPA (based on experience)
