Job Description

Ample Solar Private Limited is looking for a Sales / Branch Head for its upcoming Noida region office, as part of its strategic expansion beyond its base location at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The objective of this role is to establish Ample Solar as a reputed and trusted solar EPC brand in the Noida and NCR region. The selected candidate will play a key role in market entry, team building, business development, and long term growth of the company in the region.


This position requires a leadership driven professional who can build and manage sales teams, develop strong local networks, create strategic partnerships, and drive sustainable revenue growth while aligning closely with the companys vision and operations at the Gandhinagar, Gujarat headquarter.

Role Objective

The Sales / Branch Head Noida will be responsible for establishing and scaling Ample Solars operations in the Noida region, while closely aligning with theheadquarter at Gandhinagar, Gujarat. This role focuses on brand establishment, sales growth, team building, and regional leadership. This is a leadership and expansion role, ideal for professionals who enjoy building markets and teams from the ground up.


Key Responsibilities


1. Business Development & Sales

  • Drive residential, commercial, and industrial solar sales in Noida & NCR, other districts of Uttar Pradesh.
  • Drive the total revenue growth for the Noida / Greater Noida region. Candidates are responsible for the branch's profitability and meeting annual sales targets.
  • Direct and participate in site visits to factories and industrial plants to build rapport with owners and C-suite executives.
  • Manage local branch operations and ensure a high conversion rate from the initial site survey to the final commissioning of the project.
  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Build strong relationships with RWAs, builders, installers, vendors, and local stakeholders.
  • Establish Ample Solar as a trusted and reputed solar brand in the region.


2. Branch & Market Setup

  • Support identification and setup of the Noida office.
  • Act as the primary representative of Ample Solar in the region.
  • Ensure smooth coordination between Noida operations and Gandhinagar HQ.


3. Team Building & Leadership

  • Recruit, train, and manage local sales and operations teams.
  • Set targets, track performance, and drive accountability.
  • Build a high-performance, growth-oriented culture.


4. Strategic Growth

  • Identify new market opportunities and partnerships.
  • Provide market intelligence and competitor insights.
  • Contribute to long-term expansion planning in North India.


Desired Candidate Profile


Mandatory

  • Minimum 7-8 years of experience inSales/Business Development, with at least 6+ years specifically solar EPC / renewable energy / infrastructure / electrical solutions sales at a senior level.
  • Proven experience in sales leadership or branch management.
  • Hands-on exposure to residential, commercial, and industrial solar projects, including coordination with technical and execution teams.
  • Ability to independently drive lead generation, negotiations, closures, and client relationship management.
  • Experience working with channel partners, installers, vendors, RWAs, builders, and industrial clients.
  • Strong understanding of DISCOM processes, net metering, approvals, and government schemes (PM Surya Ghar / rooftop solar policies preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of Noida & NCR market dynamics.
  • Strong and updated understanding of central and state-level renewable energy policies including: State rooftop solar policies, Net metering / gross metering regulations, DISCOM procedures and approval workflows, Government schemes such as PM Surya Ghar.
  • Ability to track and interpret policy changes and translate them into business opportunities and sales strategy.
  • Working knowledge of the EV ecosystem including: EV charging infrastructure (AC/DC chargers), EV industry players (OEMs, charge point operators, fleet operators), Integration opportunities between solar, EV charging, and energy storage will have an added advantage.
  • Ability to build teams and networks from scratch.


Preferred

  • Experience with residential rooftop solar, DISCOM processes, or government schemes.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with long-term leadership aspirations.
  • Scale-up experience in fast-growing EPC or infrastructure companies.
