Job Description

Sales Administrator / Sales Administration Manager

Location: Peenya Industrial Area, Bengaluru (On-site) Microtex India

Working days: Monday to Saturday (On-site)

Reporting to: COO

Compensation: Salary as per industry norms (commensurate with experience)

Microtex (based in Peenya, Bengaluru) is looking for a senior Sales Administration professional to lead and strengthen our Back-Office Sales / Sales Support functionensuring disciplined execution from customer inquiry quotation order processing dispatch collections follow-up .

Key Responsibilities

You will be accountable for end-to-end back-office execution, including:

  • Order processing: accurate entry, validation, coordination, and follow-through
  • Customer inquiry management: ensuring every inquiry is tracked, responded to, and closed with clear timelines
  • Tender support: coordinating documentation, submissions, and internal inputs
  • Quotation & pricing accuracy: ensuring correct prices are quoted, approvals are followed, and documentation is complete
  • Contract / PO review: reviewing commercial terms, deviations, and ensuring internal alignment
  • Work orders: issuance and coordination with internal stakeholders
  • Dispatch planning & logistics coordination: scheduling, documentation, transporter coordination, delivery follow-up
  • Payment follow-up / collection coordination: supporting timely collections in coordination with Sales & Finance
  • Team management: managing and guiding the back-office sales team for turnaround time, accuracy, and customer responsiveness
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • 20+ years of experience in a similar Sales Administration / Back-Office Sales / Order Management role (strongly preferred)
  • Strong exposure to B2B order-to-cash operations in a process-driven environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of pricing controls, documentation, contract/PO terms, dispatch coordination, and collections follow-up
  • Confident with ERP/CRM + Excel and maintaining high data accuracy
  • Mature stakeholder management: ability to work smoothly with Sales, Production/Planning, Dispatch/Logistics, and Finance
  • High ownership, attention to detail, and strong customer communication
