Hiring: Design Safety Expert (DSE)

Qualification: BE / B.Tech Electrical / Electronics

Certification in machine safety like CMSE (Certified Machine Safety Expert) is a mandatory.

We are looking for a Design Safety Expert (DSE) to join a global engineering capability center working on advanced material handling and automation systems.

This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in Machine Safety, International Standards, and Safety PLC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with international machine safety standards (ISO / IEC / EN)
• Conduct risk assessments and safety validation for automation systems
• Review mechanical, electrical, and control system designs from a safety perspective
• Support projects from pre-bid stage through execution
• Verify safety solutions and conduct on-site inspections
• Work with integrated Safety PLCs (Siemens)
• Drive continuous improvement in design safety processes and documentation

Required Technical Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of:
• Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC)
• ISO 13849-1 / 2
• ISO 13850
• ISO 14122
• IEC 60204-1
• Experience in Functional Safety & Risk Analysis
• Knowledge of Safety PLCs (preferably Siemens TIA Portal / S7 / F-PLC)
• Certification: CMSE (Certified Machine Safety Expert) Mandatory
• Experience in material handling / industrial automation preferred
