Job Title: Senior Consultant SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning

Location: Hyderabad, India (WFO)

Experience Required: 5+ years of total experience with a minimum of 4+ years in SAC Planning

We are seeking an experienced SAP Planning Specialist with strong expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning and a solid understanding of functional budgeting processes. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize planning models, allocations, headcount planning structures, dashboards, and analytical solutions to support organizational budgeting and forecasting needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SAC Planning models, including data actions, allocations, advanced formulas, headcount planning structures, and multi-version planning.
• Work closely with business stakeholders to understand functional budgeting and forecasting requirements and translate them into effective planning solutions.
• Develop high-quality dashboards, reports, and visualizations using SAC Dashboarding and Analytics Designer (expert-level proficiency required).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline the end-to-end budgeting cycle, including strategic planning, operational planning, and performance tracking.
• Ensure data accuracy and integration by working with various data sources, including SAP BW, S/4HANA, and SAP Datasphere (good to have experience).
• Support planning cycles, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance for planning applications.
• Document design specifications, technical components, and solution architecture.

Mandatory Skills:

• Expert-level experience in SAC Analytics Designer for building complex, interactive planning applications.
• Strong hands-on experience in SAC Planning, including:
• Planning models
• Data actions & multi-step workflows
• Version management
• Advanced formula logic
• Calendar & process automation
• Strong understanding of functional budgeting concepts, such as:
• Operational budgeting
• Capital budgeting
• Forecasting cycles
• Budget vs. actuals analysis

Good-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in public sector budgeting processes, including fund management, grants, appropriations, and multi-year budgeting.
• Working knowledge of SAP Datasphere for data modelling and integration.
• Experience with SAP BW / S/4HANA data structures related to planning.
• Knowledge of predictive planning features and integration with advanced analytics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 410 years of experience in SAP Planning or SAC.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interact with business and technical teams and translate requirements into scalable solutions.
