Senior Data Architect (SAC + Datasphere + Business Data Cloud) 10+ Years

Role Overview

We are looking for a highly seasoned Senior Data Architect / Lead Analytics Engineer with deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) , SAP Datasphere , and modern Business Data Cloud ecosystems . The ideal professional will have strong solution architecture capabilities, hands-on technical expertise, and a proven record of driving enterprise data modernization across SAP and cloud environments.

This role requires end-to-end ownership of data architecture, cloud analytics engineering, governance, and business-focused solution design.

Key Responsibilities

1. SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Design and build SAC stories, dashboards, planning & predictive models
• Create complex calculation views, KPIs, analytical models
• Integrate SAC with Datasphere, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA , and other SAP systems
• Lead full lifecycle from data modeling story design deployment

2. SAP Datasphere / SAP Data Warehouse Cloud

• Architect multi-layered Datasphere data & business models
• Build semantic models, federated access, replication pipelines
• Integrate with:
• S/4HANA, BW/4HANA
• Snowflake, Databricks
• Azure/AWS/GCP
• Drive performance, governance, data lineage, and security

3. Business Data Cloud (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Azure Data Lake)

• Architect cloud data platforms, data lakes, lakehouse, data mesh
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using DBT, Python, Spark, SQL
• Create enterprise-grade fact/dimension models & semantic layers
• Deliver analytics for Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations

4. Data Engineering & Integration

• Implement ingestion pipelines using SQL, Python, PySpark
• Develop SAP Datasphere Data Flows and SAP BTP integrations
• Integrate SAP + non-SAP data sources into unified business layers
• Define data quality, governance, cataloging standards

5. Architecture & Leadership

• Define & implement future-state enterprise data architecture
• Lead SAP Cloud data modernization initiatives
• Mentor and guide engineering & analytics teams
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to design scalable data products
