Role Summary
Sales and Marketing Head (SaaS)
Shipturtle is looking for a seniorSales and Marketing Head to ownrevenue growth and market expansion end-to-end . This role leads theentire sales organisation while also owningmarketing direction and execution alignment to ensure a strong, predictable pipeline and consistent conversions.
You will work closely with the founders and product team todefine GTM direction, improve demand quality, scale international sales , and build a disciplined, high-performing sales and marketing engine.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Leadership
Own thecomplete SaaS sales lifecycle : lead qualification, demos, closures, renewals, upsell, and expansion.
Drivemonthly and quarterly revenue targets across domestic and international markets.
Personally handle and closestrategic and enterprise-level deals .
- Maintainstrong CRM discipline, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline visibility .
Team Leadership & Execution
Build, lead, and manage asales team of 10+ members .
Set cleartargets, processes, follow-ups, and accountability standards .
- Ensure consistentdemo quality, follow-through, and closure execution .
- Hire, train, and performance-manage the sales team.
Marketing Ownership (Integrated with Sales)
Ownmarketing outcomes , not just sales handoffs.
Ensure marketing efforts directly supportpipeline growth, demo bookings, and conversions .
Work with the marketing team ondemand generation, outbound support, content direction, and campaign priorities .
- Align messaging, creatives, and landing pages withreal sales conversations and objections .
Go-To-Market & Market Expansion
Define and executeGTM plans for new geographies and segments .
Driveaccount-based and outbound motions for high-value accounts.
- Improve market positioning throughconsistent messaging and sales narratives .
Founder & Product Collaboration
- Share structured customer and sales feedback with founders and product teams.
- Highlight recurring objections, lost-deal reasons, and market needs.
- Support product prioritisation using real market signals.
Requirements
10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS sales and marketing leadership.
Proven track record ofscaling sales teams (10+ members) .
Hands-on experience withinternational / overseas SaaS sales .
Strongenterprise deal-closing and negotiation skills .
Experience runningsales and marketing together , not in silos.
Highlyexecution-focused , comfortable with targets and accountability.
- Experience ineCommerce, marketplaces, or B2B SaaS is a plus.
