- Responsible for the overall availability of the SAS tools and software environment.
- Should have prior experience working on SAS Grid Environment.
- Prior Experience on SAS Grid Migration Projects is preferred.
- Strong knowledge on SAS Management Console.
- Unix/Linux and scripting and troubleshooting skills is required.
- Experience of master-slave relationship of the Grid nodes and configuring them.
- Monitoring traffic on the Grid Environment and managing the workload on the compute nodes.
- Starting and stopping of the 3 tier SAS Grid Environment.
- Check and configure different parameters as required from SAS Management Console ,RTM , SAS Environment Manager.
- Adding users/groups, defining permissions/security, configuring authentication, creating libraries and database connections, as well as performing root cause analysis for troubleshooting problems
- Strong knowledge of Servers and monitoring utilities
- Apply hot fixes, maintenance packs and perform upgrades as necessary.
- Proven analytical and problem solving techniques.
