Location - Hyderabad (Hybrid twice a week work from office)

Job Responsibilities

You will design, implement, and test code to enhance and cultivate several of the company solutions for new API, Batch and Data product offerings. Responsibilities include building new products, automation support, tooling support, and tests. Our environment: Systems running on latest Ruby, Rails, and Elixir. Private Git/GitHub repository, Jira for ticket tracking/scrum sprints and GitHub for code reviews 1:1 test coverage for most of codebase and 2:1 for prime areas Mac laptops provided for development Jenkins used for continuous integration, deploy to AWS Agile teams comprised of Software Developers and Software Test Engineers

Required Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Proven experience in full-stack web development, especially with Ruby on Rails and React Deep understanding of the Rails framework, MVC architecture, and the Ruby ecosystem Proficiency with Ruby gems, bundler, and dependency management Experience with Rails testing frameworks such as RSpec and Minitest Experience with Git in a collaborative team environment Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker, and AWS services Strong understanding of AWS security standards including IAM, Security Groups, KMS, and Secrets Manager Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams and deliver complex projects Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Empathy and a team-first mindset, with a passion for mentoring and growing engineers Commitment to high-quality software development practices, including TDD and CI/CD Must be based in Hyderabad and available to work from the office 23 days per week

Preferred Qualifications

Strong SQL skills (MySQL or PostgreSQL) Experience with non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) Several years of hands-on Ruby on Rails and React experience Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
