Key Responsibilities........

Project Planning Management Develop and maintain project plans manage project scope and oversee project execution from initiation to completion

Backup DR Strategy Design implement and manage comprehensive backup and disaster recovery strategies including policies procedures and schedules

Technical Oversight Oversee the installation configuration and maintenance of backup and recovery software and hardware across onpremises and cloud environments

Risk Management Conduct risk assessments identify potential threats like ransomware and implement strategies for data protection such as immutable backups and airgapping

Testing Validation Coordinate and lead regular disaster recovery testing data restore drills and validate that backup jobs are successful and data is retrievable

Compliance Ensure that backup and recovery processes comply with relevant regulatory and industry standards

Team Stakeholder Coordination Lead and motivate project teams and collaborate effectively with IT security facilities and other business units

Monitoring Reporting Monitor backup systems analyze operational metrics and provide regular reports to executive leadership on performance risks and recovery status

Key Skills Qualifications

Project Management Proven ability to manage complex projects including budget management risk mitigation and stakeholder communication

Technical Expertise Indepth knowledge of backup and recovery software eg Commvault Veeam cloud platforms eg AWS Azure and storage technologies

Disaster Recovery Business Continuity Experience in developing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity plans

Risk Assessment Cyber Resilience Strong ability to assess risks and build solutions to protect data against cyber threats like ransomware

Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and effective team leadership

ProblemSolving Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop practical solutions

Industry Frameworks Solid understanding of IT Service Management ITSM frameworks such as ITIL
