Job Description

Responsibilities


This position is responsible for managing a team of R2R associates, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Conduct periodic review of JEs, MJEs & reconciliations of various accounts.
Support the financial close process by preparing and organizing financial data, working with cross-functional teams to meet reporting deadlines.
Perform variance analysis, write commentaries on actuals vs forecast / budgets to identify the key drivers and help the business to make decisions.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls, collaborating with auditors and management.
Responsible for overall performance metrics - Reporting and tracking of metrics (CPI / KPI & E2E metrics)
Manage L1 escalations, liaise with upstream business teams in order to resolve outstanding issues, highlighting any risks in the process.
Maintain and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures as agreed with the client, drive cross training on an ongoing basis.
Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to provide financial information and address inquiries.
Continuous Improvement - Enable efficiency through continuous improvement.
Drive process capabilities and skills, develop the performance of team in line with the Group's policies and systems in order to achieve business goals

Minimum Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or relevant professional certification is a plus.
Relevant operational R2R experience including financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliation and journals, banking, fixed assets, intercompany, with a minimum of relevant years in a managerial role.
In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Effective leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Chartered Accountants (CAs) / CPA will be more preferred.
Relevant Experience in reputed Captive/Outsourcing RTR Ops
MS Excel & SAP knowledge is helpful.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle team.
IT skills: ERP (Blackline/SAP/Ariba/Alteryx), MS Office
Understanding of internal controls and compliance.
Previous experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
