Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Tester with experience in testing web-based applications and a strong understanding of API testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through manual test execution, defect tracking, and collaboration with the development team to improve the overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze business requirements, specifications, and technical documents to create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
• Perform manual functional, regression, UI/UX, and cross-browser testing for web-based applications.
• Execute API testing using tools like Postman, or equivalent.
• Validate API responses, status codes, error handling, and data consistency across systems.
• Report, track, and manage defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure test coverage and quality.
• Maintain test documentation and provide regular test status reports.
• Participate in test planning, sprint grooming, and retrospective meetings as part of Agile/Scrum teams.

Nice to Have:
• Experience with SQL queries for backend data validation.
• Exposure to browser developer tools for debugging.
• Basic understanding of automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus.
