RPA Automation Support Engineer

Role Description

We're looking for a QA & Automation Support Engineer who will sit at the intersection of quality assurance and production support for the RPA ecosystem powering LinkMD's core automation workflows. The RPA infrastructure behind our AI capabilities is mission critical and this role owns it.

On the QA side, you'll own test planning, execution, and automation scripting. On the support side, you'll monitor live automation processes, respond to production incidents, and work within defined SLAs to keep our insurance portal workflows running without interruption.

Day to day, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts (functional, regression, integration, smoke)
• Perform manual and API testing (Postman) to validate web apps, backend services, and data flows
• Build and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright (Python preferred) and integrate into CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor live RPA processes running against insurance and healthcare portals
• Triage automation failures portal UI changes, auth issues, API failures, data mismatches
• Operate within defined SLAs: critical incidents 1224 hrs; standard issues 48 hrs
• Validate data accuracy across portal workflows including eligibility and authorization processes
• Investigate flaky tests, identify root causes, and improve framework stability
• Maintain clear documentation of all incidents, resolutions, and recurring patterns
• Contribute to release readiness decisions your sign-offs are meaningful

Qualifications / Requirements

Required:

• 23 years of experience in QA (manual testing + test automation)
• Hands-on Playwright experience; Python preferred
• API testing proficiency with Postman and REST APIs
• CI/CD familiarity GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar
• Git proficiency branching, PRs, and release workflows
• RPA platform experience UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or similar
• Strong debugging skills logs, failure isolation, root cause analysis
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the SDLC
• Ability to work independently and communicate clearly across teams

Nice to Have:

• Prior exposure to RPA frameworks or bot-based automation workflows
• Experience with Jira, X-ray, or AIO
• Familiarity with data validation and portal-based workflow testing
• Startup or early-stage product environment experience
• Exposure to healthcare technology or insurance workflows
