How You Will Contribute:

 We’re looking for an experienced, motivated, and talented individual interested in progressing their career in advanced Routing and MPLS features. You will take an experienced and influential role contributing to advancing next generation IP routing/MPLS capabilities, delivering innovative solutions to meet demanding performance, scalability and feature requirements focused on service provider, carrier grade capability, scale and reliability. You are passionate and competent working in a team to deliver virtualized networking products based on micro-services and Container based architecture to our customers.   

• Will be playing the role of Solution Test Engineer by working on highly complex systems involving fabric based multi-line card hybrid architecture that support high-availability, carrier-grade requirement of scale and performance. 
• Review System requirements & Functional specifications and develop comprehensive solution test plans to validate customer use-cases. 
• Plan and build test environments for feature and solution level test execution, analyze test results, file defect reports & retest defect resolution.
• Actively develop automation scripts using Automation Framework to validate NE features and find quality issues.
• Validation of Network element across different NBIs (CLI, Netconf, Rest) and NMS.
• Conducts knowledge sharing sessions: Moderate to complex topics, including smaller protocol or RFC related information, specific functional area presentations or methods of procedures.

The Must Haves:

• Sound knowledge of IP, MPLS technologies & Ethernet for routing and switching networks 
  • Knowledge of Segment Routing, BGP, BGP-PIC & BGP attributes
  • MPLS protocols which includes IS-IS, LDP, RSVP–TE, MPLS-TP & Segment Routing and associated protection switching mechanism on MPLS control Plane (MBB & FRR) 
  • Knowledge of IP-Access and IP-VPN service design.
  • Good understanding of L2 protocols (e.g. LLDP, LACP, CFM, Y.1731 & EVPN Service Models) .
  • Knowledge of Traffic Engineering- Hierarchical QoS, WRED, WRR, WFQ etc
  • Knowledge of OSRP protocol is Plus.
• Highly skilled on Automation to write automation scripts using Automation Framework using Python.
• Working knowledge with Ixia/Spirent traffic generators with advanced packet protocols.
• Hands on experience working with Telecom network routing & Switching devices along with network simulators.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Required Experience: 

•  BE /B. Tech (EE/CS) Degree 
• 8+ years of relevant experience of system solution test in telecommunications domain. 

Working Experience in leading telecom & network industry for IP and MPLS related product verification - Working experience on Ciena Products like 6500 & RSP Pizza box is Plus for Solution Test Role.
