Rotating Equipment Engineer

We are looking for Rotating Equipment Engineer for our Project Engineering team based in Essar UK Service - Airoli office.

Job Purpose:

Review mechanical engineering work for refinery projects. FEED engineering documents review for mechanical department.

Providing inputs for mechanical engineering deliverables. Involved in FEED engineering like making equipment data sheets, material requisitions, technical bid evaluation, utility summary etc.

Guide consultants and detail engineering contractors to monitor its progress and deliverable.

Principal Accountabilities:

• FEED engineering documents review.
• Optimization measures for energy saving in refinery by getting involved in review meetings of new projects.
• Value engineering in FEED documents for saving in CAPEX as well as OPEX.
• Involved in start-up of the plant and performance guarantee test run for equipment.
• Decision making while acting as a PMC for detailed engineering projects.
• Preparing Material Requisition (MR), Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), Purchase Requisition (PR) and Vendor Documentation Review (VDR) for revamp projects.

Job Knowledge Skills and experience:

• Total experience- 6-15 years.
• Candidate shall have relevant work experience in mechanical equipment in upstream/downstream refinery, oil & gas, LNG, fertilizers etc. Experience in hydrogen & carbon capture projects shall be an added advantage.
• Candidate shall have experience working in UK projects with all codes and standards applicable in the UK.
• Candidate shall have prepared MR, TBE, PR, deviation resolution discussion with client, VDR, attending mechanical run tests, value engineering for minimum of following mentioned equipment (as a MUST):

1. Pumps (API, non-API, centrifugal, vertical, horizontal, positive displacement, magnetic driven, fire water).
2. Compressors (API, Centrifugal, reciprocating, integrally geared, positive displacement).
3. Blowers (API).
4. Gas Turbine (API).
5. Special purpose steam turbines (API).
6. Injection package systems.
7. Diesel Generator package.

Competencies:

As a minimum, competency in following standards:

API 610, 611, 612, 614, 616, 617, 618, 619, 671, 672, 673, 682.
