Role 1: Oracle EBS WMS Functional Consultant (R12.2.7) - AMS

Experience: 4-10 years (flexible)

Work Model: Managed Services / AMS | Offshore (India) | Client timezone overlap as needed

Primary Modules: WMS, Inventory (INV), Shipping Execution, Receiving, Purchasing, Order Management (integration touchpoints)

Role Summary

Provide L2/L3 functional support and major/minor enhancements for Oracle EBS R12.2.7 Warehouse Management. Own incident/problem resolution, functional setups, testing, and continuous improvement in an AMS model.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 support for WMS/INV transactions - receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, replenishment, cycle count, returns.

Troubleshoot transaction failures, validate setups, and perform root cause analysis (RCA) with permanent fixes.

Configure and support WMS components - LPN, locators, rules engine, task types, picking and replenishment rules, subinventories.

Support end-to-end warehouse flows with OM, Purchasing, Receiving, Shipping and related integrations.

Prepare functional documents (BRD/FS, configuration notes, SOPs), test scripts, and support SIT/UAT and production releases.

Drive continuous improvement - reduce repeat issues, improve process controls, and enhance operational stability.

Must-Have Skills

Hands-on experience in Oracle EBS R12.2.x WMS (preference: 12.2.7) with strong warehouse execution knowledge.

Good understanding of INV and warehouse processes (LPN, tasks, picking, replenishment, counting, shipping).

Strong ticket handling discipline (incident/problem/change) and clear business communication.

Good-to-Have

Exposure to MWA handheld flows and barcode/label printing concepts.

Ability to interpret basics of EBS tables, diagnostics/logging to speed up RCA.

Role Summary

Own technical support and enhancements for Oracle EBS R12.2.7 WMS ecosystem. Build and support interfaces, reports, and extensions; troubleshoot production issues with strong PL/SQL and EBS technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 technical support for WMS/INV/Shipping related defects, including RCA and permanent corrective fixes.

Develop and enhance PL/SQL objects (packages, procedures, triggers) with strong SQL tuning and performance best practices.

Build and support inbound/outbound interfaces (SFTP/file-based, API/middleware as applicable) for receiving, inventory, shipping and related transactions.

Develop and maintain BI Publisher reports, data extracts, and operational dashboards (where applicable).

Create/maintain concurrent programs, error handling frameworks, and technical documentation (MD50, deployment steps, unit test evidence).

Support patching/release cycles and ensure R12.2.x online patching compliant technical designs.

Must-Have Skills

Strong Oracle EBS R12.2.x technical experience with WMS/INV/Shipping related components.

Excellent PL/SQL and SQL tuning skills; strong understanding of EBS data model and concurrent processing framework.

Hands-on experience with BI Publisher/XML and custom data extracts.

Good-to-Have

Exposure to OAF / personalization / extensions (as required) and integration tools like OIC/SOA.

Knowledge of RF/MSCA technical touchpoints and label printing integrations.

Experience working in an ITIL-aligned AMS model with SLA-driven delivery.
