Job Description

Qualifications:-

Experience: 15-20 years

Location: Noida

Experience: 1218+ years (min. 6+ years in robotics/embedded; 35 years in solution architecture & pre-sales).

Role Summary:

Lead architecture and solutioning for robotics systems across embedded software, real-time hardware platforms, edge AI, sensing, actuation, and safety. Partner with sales and delivery to design scalable, cost-effective solutions; author technical proposals; lead PoCs; and govern delivery quality.

Key Responsibilities

Own end-to-end architecture for robotics platforms (compute, sensors, MCU/SoC, comms, power, safety).

  • Lead pre-sales & solutioning: requirements discovery, sizing/estimation, BoM, cost models, RFP responses.
  • Architect embedded systems (C/C++, RTOS/QNX/Linux), ROS/ROS 2, DDS, middleware, and control loops.
  • Design hardware: MCU/SoC selection (ARM/NVIDIA/TI), interface buses (CAN/CAN-FD, SPI, IC, UART), motor control, power, EMI/EMC, PCB review.
  • Integrate perception & edge AI: camera/LiDAR/RADAR, sensor fusion, SLAM, navigation; CUDA/TensorRT/OpenCV.
  • Define safety & cybersecurity: IEC 61508/ISO 13849, ISO 26262 (if auto), ISO 21434/IEC 62443, safety cases.
  • Establish CI/CD and testing (SIL/HIL), MISRA compliance, static analysis, coverage, and certification strategy.
  • Govern delivery: architecture runways, technical debt management, design reviews, risk management.
  • Partner with vendors (NVIDIA, TI, NXP, Intel, STM), suppliers, and certification bodies.

Must-Have Skills

Strong in C/C++, Embedded Linux/RTOS (FreeRTOS/QNX/VxWorks), ROS/ROS 2, DDS, real-time control.

  • Hardware awareness: schematics/PCB review, motor drivers, power design basics, EMC/EMI considerations.
  • Perception/SLAM fundamentals; edge AI pipeline on Jetson/Xavier/Orin; CUDA/TensorRT experience.
  • Industrial comms: EtherCAT, CAN/CANopen, Modbus, OPC UA; time sync (PTP), TSN preferred.
  • Pre-sales: solution blueprints, estimation, SoW, effort models, proposal writing, stakeholder management.

Good-to-Have

Yocto, device drivers, bootloaders, OTA; MATLAB/Simulink auto-code; safety PLCs.

  • Azure/AWS IoT; digital twin; fleet mgmt; tele-ops; RT mapping (PCL).
  • Certifications: TV Functional Safety, ROS-Industrial, Cybersecurity.
