Job Title: Automation Engineer PLC, Robotics & Motion Control

Location: Vadodara / Onsite

Experience: 24 years

Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer to design, program, commission, and support pick-and-place, robotic gantry, conveyor, and continuous industrial automation systems. The role demands strong PLC logic development, motion control exposure, and real-world commissioning experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop PLC programs from scratch (Ladder, Structured Text, FBD)
• Build control logic for pick-and-place, sorting, conveyors & material handling
• Work with servo motors, drives & VFDs (parameterization & basic tuning)
• Integrate robots (KUKA / ABB / Fanuc / equivalent) with PLCs
• Integrate sensors, encoders, pneumatics & actuators
• Develop HMI/SCADA (WinCC / TIA / Ignition or equivalent)
• Implement industrial communication & networking:
• Profinet, Profibus, EtherNet/IP
• Modbus TCP/RTU
• Serial protocols (RS-232 / RS-485)
• EtherCAT
• Support FAT, SAT, onsite commissioning & troubleshooting
• Ensure reliable operation of 247 continuous systems
• Provide post-deployment and remote support

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechatronics
• 24 years experience in industrial automation
• Strong PLC programming & troubleshooting
• Hands-on with motion control, conveyors & material handling
• Electrical schematic reading & control panel knowledge
• Onsite commissioning experience
