Role Description

CRO Treasury Risk Management (TRM) provides a holistic coverage of all the risks managed by the Treasury function, including capital risk, liquidity risk, structural interest rate and FX risks, recovery and resolution planning.

TRM Capital Risk Management acts as the 2nd line of defense control function for capital risk, which defines the control framework against the risk of insufficient capital at Group and entity level as well as coordinates DB’s Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP).

Capital Risk Management sets minimum standards for managing ICAAP and capital risk at entity level and maintains the so-called LE ICAAP platform of DB Group that aims to facilitate and support the implementation of an ICAAP framework at entity level to ensure their consistency with Group Capital Risk / ICAAP framework. The Entity Capital Risk team supports the production of local risk reports, provides guidance, project management, technical & analytical support, framework implementation oversight and acts as a first point of contact for all entities with ICAAP related issues.

Key deliverables include regulatory and internal reporting via Business & Risk Profile, Risk Management Framework and Risk & Capital Profile report and a central oversight of entities’ risk profiles, capital adequacy and regulatory engagement leveraging synergies across entities and business divisions.

Your key responsibilities

• Support DB Group’s Legal Entity (LE) Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) Platform and monitor capital risk and ICAAP at entity level
• Work and engage with legal entities to support their risk reporting in accordance with local regulations and DB Group standards and expectations
• Coordinate between the TRM Capital Risk teams in Germany and Mumbai and our stakeholders at the various DB locations
• Maintain and update process documentation

Your skills and experience

Education and Experience:

• Relevant university degree or equivalent necessary
• Prior experience in at least one risk discipline (e.g. credit, market or operational risk), risk reporting and working with regulatory frameworks

Competencies:

• Hands-on working approach with good analytical skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to present information to senior management in an appropriate way (quality & format).
• Ability to independently liaise with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks or projects at once and within given timeframes
• Confident in handling and analyzing large amount of data
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of Python and VBA preferable
