About the Role

Chargebee is strengthening its Risk Assurance and Enterprise Risk Management operating model to provide leadership with independent confidence over processes and controls, and clear, data-driven visibility into enterprise risks.

As Manager Risk Assurance & Risk Analytics, you will own and operate this capability end-to-end. This is a second-line role, independent from compliance execution and business operations.

You will be responsible for:

• Conducting independent process and control testing to provide assurance over key risks
• Enabling risk identification, tracking, reporting, and analytics across the organization
• Translating assurance outcomes and risk data into decision-useful insights for leadership

This role sits at the intersection of Business, Product, Engineering, Security, and Finance, and is designed for scale in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

What You Will Be Doing - Risk Assurance (Independent Process & Control Testing)

• Own and operate Chargebees risk-based assurance program across business and technology processes
• Plan and execute independent testing of processes and controls, including design and operating effectiveness
• Define assurance scope, testing methodology, sampling approaches, and evidence standards
• Identify control gaps, process weaknesses, and emerging risks through structured assessments
• Perform root cause analysis and validate remediation effectiveness
• Maintain independence from control ownership and execution teams
• Document assurance outcomes and provide clear, risk-rated conclusions

Risk Management Enablement & Analytics

• Own and maintain the enterprise risk register, including risk identification, assessment, ownership, and tracking
• Enable risk owners across the business to clearly articulate, assess, and manage their risks
• Design, track, and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) aligned to business objectives
• Analyze risk trends, concentrations, and systemic issues across the organization
• Shift risk management from point-in-time reviews to continuous risk monitoring

Risk Reporting & Leadership Visibility

• Build and maintain risk dashboards and analytics for leadership and governance forums
• Translate assurance findings and risk data into clear management insights and narratives
• Provide consolidated views of:
• Top enterprise risks
• Control effectiveness themes
• Issue remediation health and aging
• Support senior management discussions with structured risk reporting

Governance & Program Maturity

• Align risk assurance outcomes with enterprise risk themes and ERM priorities
• Ensure assurance findings feed back into risk assessments and KRIs
• Define risk assurance and risk management standards, templates, and playbooks
• Introduce tooling, automation, and analytics to scale risk oversight
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of Chargebees ERM and risk governance model

What Were Looking For

• 812 years of experience in Risk Assurance, Internal Audit, Enterprise Risk Management, or GRC roles
• Strong hands-on experience with process and control testing (business and technology)
• Proven experience with risk identification, risk registers, and management reporting
• Experience operating in SaaS, technology, fintech, or high-growth environments
• Ability to operate independently while partnering effectively with senior stakeholders
• Strong judgment and comfort working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments

Good to Have

• Experience with risk frameworks and standards (COSO, ISO 31000, etc.)
• Exposure to SOC, ISO, or other assurance programs (from a second-line perspective)
• Experience building dashboards, KRIs, or analytics for risk reporting
• Prior experience scaling risk or assurance operating models
• Certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CIA, or equivalent

Reporting & Growth

This role reports to the Senior Director Risk & Compliance and offers a strong growth path into broader Enterprise Risk Management, Risk Assurance leadership, or Head of Risk roles as the function matures.
