Risk Investigator - Intern

We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Trust & Verifications team as Risk Investigator Interns. This is a fast-paced role that requires strong analytical thinking, high attention to detail, and the ability to make sound judgment calls.

The Risk Investigator Intern plays a critical role in safeguarding trust on the platform. You will be responsible for evaluating campaigns, verifying documents, investigating suspicious activity, and ensuring compliance with Milaaps policies. Your decisions directly impact donor trust, campaign authenticity, and platform integrity.

• Evaluate fundraisers on the platform to ensure compliance with Milaaps terms and conditions
• Review and verify the KYC documents
• Conduct end-to-end verification of campaigns to certify the authenticity of the cause
• Investigate suspicious campaign activities and prevent potential fraud
• Analyze and manage suspicious payment transactions, with special focus on foreign transactions flagged by payment gateway partners
• Collaborate with the Customer Support team to resolve user concerns within agreed timelines
• Escalate high-risk cases appropriately based on internal protocols

• 01 year of full-time work experience (freshers can apply)
• Preferably graduates or postgraduates from any discipline
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi
• Proficiency in at least one regional language (Tamil/Kannada/Telugu) is preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical thinking skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Comfortable working with rotating weekend offs
• High standards of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality

The internship will be for a period of 6 months. Upon successful completion, candidates may be offered a full-time position based on performance and business requirements.

• Competitive stipend of 20,000 per month (Fixed)
