What would you do? You will be aligned with our Risk and Compliance vertical and help us perform compliance reviews, publish reports with actions and provide closure guidance as needed. We design & recommend effective controls to mitigate risks and help service delivery team prepare for upcoming client / external audits. You will be working as a part of the Risk & compliance team which is responsible for helping clients and organizations identify risks and create mitigation plans. In Risk Management you will be responsible for anticipating, plan for, and react to risks and issues to the project, including categorizing their severity, taking into account the likelihood of occurrence, mitigation & contingency planning. You will be expected to follow an agile approach that builds risk management into scrum roles, artifacts, and events and helps in continuous project delivery.
What are we looking for? Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Experience with business continuity and disaster recovery planning software/tools is a plus. Knowledge of financial services regulations and compliance requirements is desirable. Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or equivalent certification preferred. Minimum of 2 years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or risk management roles. Strong understanding of industry standards and best practices related to business continuity and disaster recovery, such as ISO 22301, NIST SP 800-34, or ITIL. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Roles and Responsibilities: Plan Development: Partner with business stakeholders to develop, update, and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans, policies, and procedures across regions and in alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements Lead integrated planning between Accenture and Client stakeholders to formalize and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCP) Lead and participate in periodic testing of BCPs and remediation of identified gaps Risk Assessment: Lead resiliency risk assessment efforts to identify potential threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts to business operations Develop and implement mitigation strategies to minimize risks and coordinate with stakeholders to track mitigation activities Review and challenge Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) in collaboration with stakeholders Incident Response: Coordinate with business teams in response to business disruptions, including coordinating recovery efforts, activating response teams, and communicating with key stakeholders. Reporting and Communication: Coordinate reporting of business disruptions for internal and client use within agreed upon timelines Support BCP/DR reporting during test processes and execution Support Risk and Compliance input into post-incident reporting Lead Risk and Compliance input into post-mortem reviews Training: Lead the development and delivery of training programs to increase organizational awareness of business continuity and disaster recovery procedures Coordinate regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of plans Ensure the completion of required Accenture and client training by Accenture personnel
