Work youll do
As an Assistant Manager on the Tracking & Trading Service Center team, youll be part of an innovative new team where you will use your customer service, analytical and problem-solving skills to:
- Directly support and assist Partners, Principals, and employees with understanding and maintaining their Tracking & Trading portfolios, so that it accurately reflects their Financial Relationships.
- Lead or co-lead the Tracking & Trading Service Center team in India by managing team members, operational responsibilities, and day-to-day activities, while also working on special projects as directed by management to meet the teams overall objectives
- Evaluate conclusions reached by team members in order to confirm accurate and consistent outcomes
- Implement strategies to improve team productivity, quality, and efficiencies.
- Gain a detailed understanding of existing policies, internal guidance and protocols, and function as a process knowledge expert.
- Provide coaching, training, and guidance to team members on a regular basis.
- Closely collaborate with US management to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Coordinate with other teams to ensure that our internal customers are served seamlessly.
- Contribute ideas and content for team meetings and demonstrate the ability to lead and present at team meetings.
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of reports and team metrics periodically.
- Assist the management in the performance evaluation efforts for the team.

The Independence & Conflicts Network (ICN) Personal Monitoring team performs a critical consultative, quality-assurance and risk-management function for the Deloitte US Firms, helping the organization remain unbiased and free from conflicts-of-interest, in fact and appearance, when providing service to attest/audit clients. Independence requirements are defined by specific sets of policies, external rules and regulations, so maintaining both the independence of the Deloitte US Firms and personal independence is essential to the business and reputation of Deloitte.
Qualifications
Required:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated by impactful, clear and concise writing
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to confidently communicate with Deloitte Partners, Principals, and employees
Ability to effectively coach, develop and mentor staff
Strong leadership skills
Experience managing professionals or teams, including in a virtual environment. Demonstrate an ability to team with our US group as well as other groups
High degree of professionalism and discretion with the ability to handle confidential data
Proficient in standard office-productivity tools (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
Strong organizational skills demonstrated by ability to organize and maintain several key responsibilities at once, while managing ad hoc requests
Initiative to manage the Tracking & Trading Service Center team in India with minimal supervision or oversight
Ability to effectively work independently, and as part of a team, in a dynamic work environment
Ability to present ideas and business recommendations for the continuous improvement of processes
Ability to identify team member strengths and improvement areas and provide detailed feedback plan for continued development
Preferred:
An understanding of Independence requirements for professional auditing firms
- Experience working in a large corporation or accounting firm
- Strong technical background
- Project management skills

Shift Timings: 2 PM- 11 PM IST
