About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Risk Analytics Consultant


In this role, you will:

  • Participate in less complex analysis and modeling initiatives, and identify opportunity for process production, data reconciliation, and model documentation improvements within Risk Management
  • Review and analyze programing models to extract data, and manipulate databases to provide statistical and financial modeling, and exercise independent judgment to guide new and existing projects with medium risk deliverables
  • Coordinate and consolidate the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports for more experienced management
  • Present recommendations for resolving data reconciliation, production, and database issues
  • Exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in policy governance, risk projects, and regulatory requests
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, managers, experienced managers, compliance, including various lines of business

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Ability to build rapport across CRRA teams
  • Keen eye for thorough execution
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.

  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management.

Job Expectations:

  • Be a part of the Independent Quality Assurance team, which sits within the larger Corporate Risk Reporting & Analysis (CRRA) group.
  • Should have internal auditor certification.
  • Perform report level and dashboard testing based on quality assurance standards
  • Reconcile CRRA report values to authoritative data sources based on business requirements
  • Perform independent recalculations to ensure accuracy of information presented
  • Review and challenge, as necessary, the comprehensiveness and clarity of report requirements 
  • Review dashboard logic to ensure agreement to business requirements and its ability to produce the end user request 
  • Review report content to align with quality control guidance
  • Maintain rapport with reporting team to understand report changes
  • Provide reporting of results timely and thoroughly to reporting team
  • Should have Power BI and Power apps exposure.
