Overview

The RFP Team plays a critical role in supporting business growth by managing and delivering highquality, competitive, and compliant responses to client and consultant requests across Investment Management business. The team partners closely with Sales, Product, Investments, Legal, Compliance, Technology, and other key stakeholders to articulate the firms strengths, capabilities, and differentiated value proposition.

Acting as subjectmatter experts in proposal strategy and execution, the RFP Team leads endtoend RFP and duediligence processesfrom initial intake and planning through final submission and postsubmission followups.

The team ensures all responses are accurate, compelling, and aligned with brand, regulatory, and client expectations, while consistently meeting tight deadlines and high quality standards. With a strong focus on process optimization and content reuse, the RFP Team leverages proposal automation tools, consultant databases, and centralized content libraries to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency. Beyond execution, the team contributes to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing standard responses, maintaining proposal databases, and incorporating feedback from clients, consultants, and sales partners to strengthen future submissions.


Responsibilities

  • Responsible for pre-populate standard content
  • Formatting of proposal
  • Loading into proposal software (Rocket Docs)
  • Proficient in researching, analysing existing proposals to populate information in current proposals
  • Completing & Writing the proposal through coordination with different stakeholders
  • Act as tenured RFP writer to customise the proposals & highlight the value which Organisation can bring to the client
  • Submission of proposals would require client/advisor interaction through emails
  • Assist with coordination and completion of Consultant Databases, Vendor Profiles and Proposal Software Database updates on a periodic cadence using applications such as RPAG, Envestnet, In Hub, RFP360, etc., including IT Security questionnaires
  • Coordinate and conduct planning/strategy sessions with stakeholders, sales executives and appropriate Subject Matter Experts to address scope, issues, ownership, and timelines for RFP completion
  • Assess information needs, conduct research, coordinate and manage the RFP process through completion prior to deadlines
  • Forward updates to the RFP proposal database manager with new/custom responses on a regular basis
  • Assist with post-RFP submission requests including follow-up questions or requests for additional content


Knowledge & Experience

  • Bachelors/Masters degree or equivalent
  • 710 years of overall proposal / RFP writing experience, preferably within Investment Management or Financial Services
  • Minimum 57 years of Investment Management experience with strong exposure to the US market
  • Proven ability to act as a senior/tenured RFP writer, customizing proposals and articulating value propositions effectively
  • Strong writing and communication skills, project management skills, and relationshipbuilding capability
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities independently
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines
  • Understanding of the US investment management industry and regulatory environment
  • Working knowledge of Rocket Docs or similar proposal automation tools is a plus
