About this Position

Candidate Will perform revenue recognition assurance activities including application of relevant US GAAP to arrangements. This role will review customer contracts and deals and will apply the existing revenue recognition review process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review customer arrangements for proper revenue recognition in accordance with company policy and revenue
• recognition accounting standards and summarize customer agreements with non-standard terms impacting
• Provide guidance on allocated revenue on certain transactions
• Provide support and assistance in determining proper accounting for products and services including new introductions
• Review Professional Services engagements and ensure accuracy of set up in the system. Work with Professional inquires/issues related to revenue recognition.
• Oversee and review monthly revenue related tasks and analysis including monthly revenue close process with respect to Professional Services and the revenue close process in Netsuite.
• Review journal entries to ensure appropriate revenue treatment.
• Review various analysis to support the Companys compliance with revenue recognition guidance.
• Participate in or manage ad-hoc projects and other duties as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree, Accounting or related major
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
• 12 or more years in accounting/finance roles including in high-technology industry on revenue recognition (with recent public accounting experience or experience in Professional Service arrangements preferred)
• General understanding of revenue recognition guidance (ASC 606)
• Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills are required for frequent interaction with financial and non-financial management
• Ability to work at a detailed level and also to interact effectively with all levels within the organization Advanced Macros or Excel skills
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team setting Concern for quality and deadlines
