Job Description

This role requiring strong techno-commercial expertise, deep Delhi NCR market understanding, and the ability to close high-value retrofit opportunities.


Position Summary

The Retrofit Sales Manager will lead and drive the retrofit sales vertical at Ensavior, focusing on HVAC system upgrades, energy optimization solutions, UVGI systems, indoor air quality improvements, and sustainability-driven retrofits.

This is a senior, target-driven leadership role requiring strong techno-commercial expertise, consultant network development, and the ability to close high-value retrofit opportunities.

Key Responsibilities1. Business Development & Revenue Leadership
  • Drive retrofit sales revenue as per annual business targets.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for HVAC retrofits and energy efficiency solutions.
  • Build a strong opportunity pipeline across commercial and industrial segments.
  • Lead high-value negotiations and close strategic deals.
2. Consultant & Key Account Management
  • Develop relationships with HVAC consultants, PMCs, architects, facility heads, and decision-makers.
  • Position Ensavior as a preferred retrofit and energy optimization partner.
  • Drive repeat business from existing customers.
3. Technical & Commercial Solutioning
  • Evaluate existing HVAC systems and identify retrofit opportunities.
  • Work closely with technical and engineering teams to develop ROI-driven proposals.
  • Present energy savings models, payback analysis, and lifecycle cost benefits.
4. Tendering & Proposal Strategy
  • Lead preparation of techno-commercial proposals.
  • Ensure pricing strategy aligns with margin targets.
  • Participate in tender submissions and technical discussions.
5. Team Leadership & Coordination
  • Guide and mentor Sales Engineers (if applicable).
  • Coordinate with design, execution, and accounts teams for seamless project handover.
  • Ensure timely collections in coordination with finance.
6. Market Intelligence & Strategic Inputs
  • Track competitor activities and emerging retrofit trends.
  • Identify growth sectors (healthcare, hospitality, data centers, etc.).
  • Provide inputs for new product/service development.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred.
Experience Required
  • Minimum 810 years of experience in HVAC sales, with strong exposure to retrofit or service sales.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value retrofit or energy efficiency projects.
  • Strong consultant and facility manager network.

Preferred Candidate Profile
  • Experience in energy audits, sustainability projects, or performance contracting.

  • Strong understanding of building systems and lifecycle optimization.
