We are a fast-growing startup seeking a skilled Retention Marketing Specialist to boost customer loyalty and repeat business through targeted WhatsApp and email campaigns.


Key Responsibilities

Design, execute, and optimize WhatsApp campaigns (broadcasts, abandoned cart reminders, re-engagement flows) using tools like WATI, Interakt, or WhatsApp Business API to drive repeat orders from customers.

Build and manage email marketing strategies, including newsletters, win-back sequences, and personalized offers via platforms like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Zoho Campaigns.

Segment audiences based on purchase history, behavior, and industry needs; A/B test content for higher open/click rates and retention metrics (e.g., repeat purchase rate, churn reduction).


Analyze performance using metrics like open rates, CTR, ROE, and LTV; report insights to refine strategies for industrial buyers.


Collaborate with sales and product teams to create timely promotions, loyalty programs, and vernacular content for Tier 2/3 audiences.


Ensure compliance with WhatsApp Commerce Policy, DND regulations, and email best practices (CAN-SPAM, CASL equivalents in India).


Experiment with automation flows to nurture leads into loyal customers and reduce churn.


Qualifications


Bachelor's in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.


1.5-2+ years of hands-on experience in retention marketing, with strong focus on WhatsApp and/or email channels, preferably in e-commerce or D2C.


Proven results in improving retention (e.g., 20%+ uplift in repeat orders or reduced churn).


Proficiency in WhatsApp/email tools, automation platforms, and analytics.


Analytical mindset with excellent copywriting skills; comfortable with data-driven experimentation.


Passion for customer-centric marketing; familiarity with Indian consumer behavior is a plus.


Bonus: Experience with conversational commerce or SMS integration.
