Job Summary

The restaurant hostess is responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience by welcoming guests, managing reservations, handling feedback, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction at the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome and greet all guests upon arrival
• Manage table reservations and waiting lists efficiently
• Coordinate with the service and kitchen team to ensure smooth guest flow
• Understand guest preferences and ensure personalized service
• Handle guest queries, complaints, and special requests professionally
• Ensure guests are comfortable and satisfied throughout their visit
• Maintain guest feedback records and share inputs with management
• Assist during peak hours to manage crowd flow and guest expectations
• Promote restaurant offerings, events, and special menus
• Ensure grooming standards and service etiquette are followed

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 13 years of experience as GRE / Hostess / Guest Services in a restaurant or hospitality setup
• Excellent communication skills (English & Hindi; Marathi preferred)
• Pleasing personality with a customer-focused attitude
• Ability to handle pressure during busy service hours
• Basic knowledge of POS/reservation systems is an advantage
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and holidays

Educational Qualification

• A graduate or Diploma in Hotel management/hospitality is preferred
• Freshers with good communication skills may also be considered
