Job Title: Senior RMG Analyst (Resource Management Group)

Location: Chennai (Candidates from other locations are welcome to apply, provided they are willing to relocate)

Department: Global Operations Group

Experience Required: 411 years (candidates with 3+ years may be considered if highly relevant)

Notice Period: Immediate joiners preferred (maximum 1 week)

Compensation: Up to 13+++ LPA (based on current CTC, experience, and skills)

Job Summary

The Senior RMG Analyst will play a critical role in managing and optimizing the deployment of resources across multiple projects and teams. This position involves strategic resource planning, efficient allocation, utilization monitoring, and ensuring the organizations talent pool is leveraged effectively to achieve business goals and project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee resource allocation across projects to ensure optimal utilization and alignment with project needs.

Develop and execute resource management strategies that support organizational objectives and timelines.

Lead, mentor, and guide the Resource Management team to build a collaborative and high-performing culture.

Monitor resource utilization metrics and drive initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Collaborate closely with project managers, department heads, and HR to identify resource requirements, gaps, and surpluses.

Perform regular resource forecasting to anticipate future demands and enable proactive planning.

Prepare and present reports/analysis on allocation, utilization, and capacity planning to senior leadership.

Resolve resource-related conflicts promptly to ensure seamless project delivery.

Continuously assess and improve resource management processes, tools, and practices.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders on policies, procedures, and updates related to resource management.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Project Management, or a related discipline.

Masters degree or relevant certifications will be an added advantage.

Experience: Minimum 4+ years in a resource management, workforce planning, or similar role (preferably in IT/services/operations environment).

Essential Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication along with strong interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in resource management tools/software (e.g., Clarity PPM, Planview, MS Project, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification in Resource Management (e.g., PMI-RMP or equivalent).

Prior experience in a mid-sized organization.

Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.

Working Conditions

Full-time role based out of Chennai.

Hybrid work model (combination of office and remote work).

Occasional travel may be required depending on project requirements.
