Job Description
A Reservation Executive manages bookings for hotels, airlines, or events, handling customer inquiries via phone/email, processing reservations accurately, managing systems (PMS), coordinating with other departments, upselling services, resolving complaints, and ensuring a seamless, high-quality guest/client experience while maximizing revenue and maintaining data integrity. Key skills include strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and sales ability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Booking Management:
- Process new reservations, modifications, and cancellations for rooms, flights, or packages.
- Customer Service:
- Answer guest inquiries, provide information on services/products, and resolve issues promptly.
- System Operation:
- Accurately input and update data in reservation systems (PMS) and maintain guest history.
- Sales & Revenue:
- Upsell services, packages, or upgrades; monitor availability, rates, and sales opportunities to meet targets.
- Coordination:
- Liaise with other hotel departments (front office, sales, housekeeping) for smooth guest experiences.
- Reporting:
- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, or monthly reports on bookings, cancellations, and revenue.
- Policy Adherence:
- Ensure compliance with company credit policies, rate controls, and service standards.
