Experience with SPSS is an added advantage

Role Description

Full-time, on-site role in Tirunelveli. The Research Statistician will analyze research data, apply statistical methods, prepare reports, and support clinical research projects.

Skills Required

Data Handling & Study Understanding

• Understanding of study designs (observational, experimental, RCTs)
• Data cleaning and preprocessing

Descriptive & Basic Statistics

• Nominal, ordinal, and categorical data analysis
• Measures of central tendency and dispersion

Parametric & Non-Parametric Methods

• Parametric mean comparisons (t-test, paired t-test, etc.)
• Non-parametric mean comparisons (MannWhitney U, Wilcoxon, KruskalWallis, etc.)

Inferential & Correlation Statistics

• Correlation analysis (Pearson, Spearman)
• Chi-square tests

Advanced Statistical Techniques

• ANOVA (one-way, two-way)
• Repeated measures ANOVA
• ROC curve analysis
• Regression analysis

Software Skills

• Proficiency in SPSS, Excel
• Knowledge of R, or Python is an added advantage
