We are looking for a passionate Research ScientistI to join our ICMR-funded CAR project: "Development and validation of AI and multiparametric MRI in brain tumor assessment."

Key Details:

• Position: Research Scientist 1 (Full-time PhD position in Advanced Quantitative Imaging and AI Modeling for Early Diagnostics and Prognostic Monitoring in Brain Tumors)
• Stipend: As per ICMR norms
• Qualifications: M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech in Physics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent. Strong interest in MRI, image processing, machine learning, and cancer biology. Proficiency in MATLAB or Python is essential.
• Collaboration: A multi-institutional project with KGMU Lucknow, IIT Delhi, FORTIS, NIMHANS, and leading US universities!
• Hands-on exposure to advanced MRI analysis, biomarkers & clinical datasets

What Youll Do?

Work at the intersection of advanced MRI, AI/ML, and cancer biology

Translate research to real clinical impact (histopathology & biomarker correlation)

Opportunity to be considered for full-time PhD admission at KGMU (as per eligibility)

Apply AI and programming tools (MATLAB/Python preferred).

Develop excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Who should apply?

M.Sc./B.Tech./M.Tech in relevant fields (Physics/CS/Biomedical Eng./ or equivalent)

Strong interest in MRI, image processing, AI/ML, oncology, neurosciences

Proficiency in MATLAB or Python is essential.

First division throughout (preferred); NET/GATE (or equivalent) preferred

Contractual | 3 years (annual renewal based on performance)

Location: KGMU, Lucknow
