About the role
This role is in the Song Research team supporting the Innovation and Thought Leadership agenda of Accenture Song, the business within Accenture that works with our clients on their front office agenda, be it Growth & Product Innovation, Sales & Service, Commerce, Marketing, and anything in-between.
We are looking for a candidate with a passion for strategic research related to customer and employee experience, comfortable contributing with new ideas, exploring and validating new opportunities, and addressing specific business challenges.
The role will require a passion for understanding how businesses have transformed how they work, how they engage and how they bring value to customers, employees and communities as well as a good knowledge of key Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) topics.
Key Responsibilities include:
Drive both Thought Leadership and Client Research projects
Identify the key issues facing companies and design thought provoking points of view on Customer and Employee Service and imperatives for success based upon proprietary insights, market analysis and understanding of emerging trends.
Originate, sell and develop innovative research to explore provocative questions in a logical and structured manner.
Design and manage research projects
Utilize advanced analytical techniques to develop surprising new insights, and creatively visualize findings for client use
Support the creation of compelling, business-focused stories.
Contribute to high-quality presentation materials for current and potential clients, conferences, and other audiences.
Liaise with industry practice, 3rd party data providers, and suppliers to bring external data and insights into research projects.
Lead junior team members and actively develop them.
Support the ongoing development of Accenture Researchs profile, visibility, and brand across Accenture Song.
Experience and skills:
Recognized SME
Foundation of core research strategy skills & issue-based problem solving
Strategic problem solver with the ability to take an issue and turn it into a researchable question
Experience and facility with data-driven research techniques, data visualization and the application of advanced analytical approaches (e.g., machine learning, natural language processing)
Ability to design, lead and deliver highly complex and innovative thought leadership research through e.g. industry player benchmarking, financial analysis or consumer or executive surveys
Proven ability to create a project plan and execute against it
Strong storytelling and communication skills and facility in executive presentation
Ability to quickly establish credibility with senior-level leaders
Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a global, multi-cultural team
