Research Intern

Modulus Housing is a technology-driven construction company focused on modular and prefabricated building solutions . Our R&D-driven approach enables us to develop durable, cost-effective, and future-ready housing systems.

This is an on-site internship role for a research intern located in the Greater Chennai Area . The selected candidate will support research and development activities related to construction materials and prefabricated building elements .

Key responsibilities include conducting material-related research , assisting in mix design development , analyzing experimental and site data, supporting ongoing R&D and execution projects, and preparing technical reports and documentation . The intern will collaborate closely with engineering, production, and R&D teams to generate insights that support performance optimization, durability enhancement, and decision-making for modular construction systems.

• Strong research and analytical skills to collect, evaluate, and interpret experimental and field data
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting and collaboration
• Basic proficiency in engineering tools, spreadsheets, and data analysis software
• Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team with a strong willingness to learn and adapt
• Interest in innovation, problem-solving, and applied research
• Bachelors degree, M.Tech, Ph.D. or current enrollment in Civil Engineering, Materials Engineering, Construction Engineering, Science, or a related field
• Familiarity with concrete technology, prefabrication, or modular housing systems is an added advantage
