Research - Interactive Modeling Analyst

Your role

• responsible for timely design, development and distribution of Excel/Web-based financial models, dashboards and visualization to internal and external stakeholders
• advise analysts on the progress and effectiveness of assigned projects and make recommendations to smoothen the workflow
• provide quality control checks to analysts during the development phase of the interactive financial models
• assess model validation, such as conceptual soundness
• perform outcomes analyses, such as scenario analysis and sensitivity analysis
• advise on the development of strategic models
• build interactive Excel/VBA dashboards to automate Excel operations
• document business requirements and technical specifications required to support important aspects of interactive modelling and dashboard development
• manage relationship and foster cross communication between the analysts
• handle ad hoc data analytics requests based on teams requirements

Your team

You’ll be working in Hyderabad, India, working with Global Research Data Platform teams and analysts based in London, New York, Singapore, HK and Sydney among others. The team’s purview is as broad as it can be in financial markets – both global and with clear opportunities to collaborate and help research team in research data management.

Your expertise

• high proficiency in advanced Excel
• Excel VBA (macros) is a must have
• comfortable working in offshore arrangement with timely completion of tasks
• ability to identify and solve issues on his/her own
• eye for detail
• proficiency in MS Office
• attentive listening skills
• ability to implement new working styles
• ability to identify proactive ways to contribute to the company’s goals and mission
• excellent communication and interpersonal skills
