Your role

Are you an expert in assessing value and risk? Do you love to give advice, as well as educate?
We’re looking for a Research Associate for:
•convert industry knowledge into understandable investment opinions
•build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate projections
•conduct valuation analysis of Indian securities
•provide investment recommendations based on modelling, valuation and risk assessments
•remain current on market developments to help frame investment strategies

Your team

You’ll be working in the UBS India Research team based out of Mumbai, covering the India TMT sector. As a Research Analyst, you’ll play an important role in analyzing industry dynamics and providing investment recommendations to institutional equity clients. The team works hard to make sure our clients listen to differentiated industry themes and stock ideas generated by us.

Your expertise

•preferably 2-5 years of experience in equity research (sell side or buy side) or other related fields in finance (corporate finance, investor relations etc.).
•excellent writing skills to communicate relevant themes and research.
•have successfully built and maintained financial valuation models
•confident ability to review and interpret annual reports and financial statements
•adept at communicating fundamental views on and off paper in an articulate and confident manner
•inquisitive, organized and able to work independently
•maintain relationships with various corporates, industry experts to help gain sector insights
•preferably (not mandatory) some basic coding skills as the role involves working with large amounts of data
