Research - Economics & Strategy - Credit Strategy Associate

Your role

• maintain the frameworks that drive our regional, sector, rating, tenor and relative value views
• support analysis of macro-economic and financial market variables that improve our models
• proactively develop new types of analysis that support conviction investment ideas
• provide customized portfolio or thematic analysis for institutional clients
• proactively highlight opportunities for new investment themes and publications
• work under the guidance of senior members of the team based in NY and London

Your team

You’ll be working in Hyderabad, India, and collaborating with strategists in the Global Strategy team based in London and New York. The team’s purview is as broad as it can be in financial markets – both global and across all asset classes. As such it represents one of the best learning opportunities available in finance

Your expertise

• excellent Microsoft excel skills
• 2-3 years of work experience in econometrics/statistical analysis
• comfortable working independently on python coding projects
• solid understanding of economics, financial markets and their drivers
• working knowledge of market data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Haver)
• medium to high level coding experience is preferred
