Job Description
Responsibilities –
· Conduct analysis, testing and purification of product samples:
o Develop analytical methods for intermediates and final compounds
o Collect all the samples and record the content into the register
o Collect solvents from the store and check for its quality
o Prioritize and prepare samples for the required analysis
o Prepare mobile phase for HPLC, LCMS and preparative HPLC
o Process HPLC/ LCMS chromatograms to analyze molecules and enrich purity of the intermediates/ final compounds
o Develop methods and purify compounds using prep HPLC/ MS - Prep HPLC/ SFC
o Analyze the samples using HPLC, NMR, GCMS and LCMS etc.
o Support senior team members in preparing reports with test results
· Ensure safety at work through adherence of best lab management practices:
o Handle all chemicals and instruments in a safe manner, adhere to the lab safety practices and ensure compliance
o Communicate to the in-house engineer/senior team members immediately in case of any instrument break down
o Record, maintain and update the analysis in an accurate manner on a continuous basis
· Maintain data integrity and IP confidentiality:
o Maintain strict IP Confidentiality and adhere to all related policies
· Ensure skill development of self:
o Enhance knowledge related to NMR, HPLC, LCMS, GCMS, POLARIMETER, ATR generation and wet analysis etc.
