Job Description
The Intellectual Property (IP) Division at FICCI is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Professional to support the promotion, positioning, and growth of IP-related initiatives. The role requires a strong blend of marketing expertise, stakeholder engagement, fundraising capability, and government interfacing skills. The candidate will work closely with industry bodies, government departments, startups, and subject-matter experts to advance the divisions mission.
Educational Qualifications and Relevant Experience:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Law, or related field.
- Masters/professional degree preferred (MBA/LLB or equivalent).
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing, corporate communications, fundraising, or stakeholder management, preferably in Law, policy, innovation, or IP-related domains.
- Experience in government engagement or working with industry associations is an advantage.

Principal Accountabilities :
Marketing & Outreach
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance visibility of FICCIs IP initiatives, events, and programs.
- Build and manage digital and offline marketing campaigns, communication collaterals, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Strengthen brand positioning of the IP Division across industry and academic ecosystems.
Networking & Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including industry leaders, law firms, IP professionals, academia, startups, and innovators.
- Engage with members of FICCIs IPR Committee and support the expansion of stakeholder networks.
Government Engagement
- Liaise with government ministries and agencies such as DPIIT, IPO, MeitY, WIPO, and state governments on IP-related programs, consultations, and policy discussions.
- Support the drafting of policy submissions, white papers, and advocacy materials.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, and consultations with government officials.
Fundraising & Partnership Development
- Identify funding opportunities and strategic partnerships to support IP events, conferences, capacity-building programs, and research initiatives.
- Develop sponsorship proposals and pitches for corporate partners and industry associations.
- Build long-term partnerships to strengthen financial sustainability of IP vertical projects.
Event & Program Management
- Support planning and execution of flagship events such as World IP Day, national/international conferences, workshops, and training programs.
- Coordinate speaker outreach, marketing, audience mobilization, and sponsorship support.
Research & Content Support
- Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, concept notes, marketing briefs, and IP awareness material.
- Track latest developments in IP laws, sectoral policies, and industry trends to inform outreach strategy.
- Co-ordinate effectively with other departments of FICCI, FICCI state offices, etc. to deliver the assigned work.
Required Competencies:
