Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Research and Development Leader/Manager at ENRX Bengaluru. As a Research and Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team conducting analytical research and development activities, testing and evaluating new technologies, and contributing to product development efforts. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to design, develop, and improve sustainable solutions for manufacturing applications.

Responsibility

1.Design, development and validation of power electronic devices and components together with an interdisciplinary team.

2.Design, implement and validate solutions for EMC, reliability, and manufacturing.

3.Start to finish ownership of hardware from specification to design, prototype, reliability testing and high-volume manufacturing.

4.Analyse and Simulate electronics cards functions and electronics circuits / electrical network.

5.Conducting and coordinating complex analyses, developing recommendations based on technology or engineering practices and business considerations.

6.Supporting the overall design cycle of the new product, from simulation to validation and documentation, through design and test.

7.Supporting Operations and after sales organization during trouble shooting phases.

8.Continuous improvements tasks on converters / sub-assemblies to work on to find alternative for obsolete components.

9.Participating actively in relevant internal and external networks in their own area of responsibility.

10.Monitor and frequently report on progress of the project to all stakeholders.

Your background:

1.M-Tech or Msc in Power electronics.

2.Minimum 10 years of experience in Power electronics converters design (e.g., DC/DC, AC/DC and resonant converters).

3.Experience with Design of Analogue / digital circuits and microcontroller processors.

4.Understanding of control theory in advance power electronics and applicable control methods.

5.Familiar with common development tools MATLAB / LTSpice / Altium / Simulink / MultiSim.

6.Proficient in the use of electrical and electronics laboratory equipments.

7.Experience with power electronic design topologies, knowledge of resonant converters.

8.Understanding of the theory and application of magnetics (inductors, transformers) and capacitors in various parts of power electronic converters.

9.Good knowledge in engineering / technical documentations.

10. Good communication skill in English, both oral and written.
