Job Description

Position: Relationship Manager

Experience: 7-12 years of experience in AMC Sales for National Distributors/ Banks/ NBFC partners.

Reporting to: National Head- Sales

Location: Mumbai

Department: Sales

CTC Range: As per industry standards

Minimum Qualification : Graduate.

  • MBA/PGDM (Finance/ Marketing preferred)
  • NISM 5A is mandatory.
  • Only apply if you have minimum 3-4 years of experience in the same profile/ handling large AUMs, pan India or West zone NDs/ Banks/MFDs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills is mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel as per business needs.


Job Role:

The Relationship Manager (RM) will be responsible for driving AMC business across National Distributors Banks, Large MFDs and NBFCs. The role focuses on relationship management, AUM Growth, product penetration and strategic engagement with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & AUM Growth: Manage and grow AMC assets through National Distributors Banks, Large MFDs and NBFC partners. Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual AUM & revenue targets. Empanel New Distributors.
  • Relationship Management: Act as a primary point of contact for partners. Conduct regular review meetings, business planning sessions, and joint class with the above.
  • Product and market engagement: Conduct product presentations, webinars and training sessions. Provide market insights, fund performance updates and competitors analysis. Support distributors in portfolio positioning and client engagement strategies.
  • Channel Strategy & Expansion: Identify new opportunities within assigned geography. Increase wallet share with existing partners. Coordinate with Marketing, Product, Operations & Compliance teams.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to SEBI, AMFI and internal AMC policies. Maintain accurate reporting of sales data, pipeline and forecasts. Support audits and partner documentation requirements.


Essential Skills:

7-12 years of experience in AMC Sales for National Distributors/ Banks/ NBFC partners.

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in the same profile/ handling large AUMs.
  • Proven track record of managing large ticket AUM relationships.
  • Experience in handling pan India or West zone NDs/ Banks/MFDs.
  • Willingness to travel as per business needs.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Deep understanding of MF products, Capital markets and distribution structures.
