Job Summary

The Relationship Manager (Government Relations) will drive Pharmavedas engagement with government bodies, regulatory agencies, and public sector stakeholders. This role focuses on policy advocacy, regulatory compliance, and strategic partnerships to enhance market presence and ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, policymakers, and regulatory bodies.
• Represent Pharmaveda in government meetings, industry forums, and public-private initiatives.
• Monitor and influence policies impacting the Ayurvedic and pharmaceutical sectors.

Product Advocacy & Awareness

• Monitor and analyze government policies, regulations, and legislative developments impacting the pharmaceutical and Ayurvedic healthcare sector.
• Advocate for policies and regulations favorable to the companys interests through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

E-Procurement & Tendering

• Manage product registration on government e-procurement platforms.
• Identify and participate in relevant tenders and bidding opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and procurement processes.
• Monitor and track e-procurement transactions to ensure smooth execution.
• Assist in crisis management and risk mitigation related to government relations.

Conflict Resolution & Negotiation

• Address concerns related to pricing, compliance, or procurement
• Negotiate contract alignment with government policies.

Internal Coordination & Reporting

• Collaborate with legal, sales, and product teams for government-related strategies..
• Maintain records of government interactions, tenders, and procurement activities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Public Policy, Business Administration,
• 5+ years of experience in government relations, public affairs, or regulatory affairs, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or Ayurvedic industry.
• Strong networking, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of government procurement processes
• Ability to handle bureaucracy and navigate complex government systems
• Experience in e-procurement platforms and bidding processes
• Should be willing to travel
