Job Overview

The Regulatory Reporting & Controls Manager is responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant reporting of trades and positions across global jurisdictions. This role supports the firms regulatory obligations under MiFID II, EMIR, Asia regulatory frameworks, and U.S. reporting requirements under CFTC, SEC, and CAD.

The position involves performing reconciliations, investigating reporting breaks, remediating historical issues, strengthening controls, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance reporting accuracy and reduce operational risk in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Regulatory Reporting & Back Reporting

• Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant back reporting of trades and positions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Perform reconciliations, back reporting, and exception management in line with regulatory requirements.
• Investigate, remediate, and resolve reporting issues, including historical breaks and data inconsistencies.
• Support testing, documentation, and data analysis for reporting enhancements and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Technology, Legal, Compliance, and Operations teams to manage regulatory changes and resolve issues effectively.

Qualifications & Experience :

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in regulatory reporting, capital markets, trade operations, or compliance.
• Lead requirements gathering and test planning activities.
• Coordinate and oversee the work of the BA team; provide guidance to testers as required.
• Liaise with relevant SPOCs to drive remediation plans.
• Govern backlog clearance and ensure timely resolution.
• Provide executive reporting and leadership governance updates.
