Based in Chennai, you will take ownership of developing and winning system projects by working closely with consultants, contractors, system integrators, and channel partners.
This is a manufacturer-side, market-facing role focused on project ownership and execution, not transactional or product-pushing sales.
Role overview
TOA Electronics India is seeking an experienced Regional Sales professional to drive project-based system business in Tamil Nadu.
The role is best suited for candidates who already understand how system projects are specified, tendered, influenced, and executed within electrical, infrastructure, and institutional ecosystems.
While TOA is a global manufacturer of professional audio and voice communication systems, this position goes beyond product promotion.
You will act as a market owner, shaping opportunities from early-stage specification through tendering and project execution, while coordinating closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Own and drive tender-driven system projects across Tamil Nadu from opportunity creation to order conversion
- Engage consultants to support specifications, design intent, and early project planning
- Work closely with contractors, system integrators, and channel partners to convert specified projects
- Influence project outcomes through early market engagement, not just at tender stage
- Coordinate with internal sales, technical, and application teams to progress opportunities
- Strengthen, manage, and selectively expand channel and partner relationships within the TN market
You will have the autonomy to engage consultants, influence specifications, and shape channel strategies within your territory.
What we are looking for
- Typically 612 years of experience in project-based system or infrastructure sales in Tamil Nadu
- Strong hands-on understanding of tender-driven projects and consultant-led ecosystems
- Proven experience working with consultants, contractors, system integrators, and dealers
- Background in life-safety, security, communication, ELV, or similar system businesses is highly relevant
- Manufacturer experience is a plus, but practical market execution experience matters more
Team and collaboration
This is a Chennai-based role, working closely with TOAs South India and national teams.
Periodic collaboration at the Bangalore office is expected to align strategy, share best practices, and operate as a unified South India team.
