Job Summary

Were hiring a hands-on Regional Manager (Admissions) to own admissions outcomes across the region by building and scaling a consultant/channel network while also counselling high-intent applicants. This is a target-driven role you will manage 2030 external education consultants, onboard new partners, coach them to convert, and step in for parent/learner counselling when needed. Experience: 56 years in university admissions/education consulting / EdTech with proven consultant-led results.


Key Responsibilities (80% Consultant / 20% Counselling)

Consultant Network Management (80%)

  • Build, onboard, train and manage a portfolio of 2030 education consultants/channel partners across assigned clusters (examples: Sunstone partners, Maharashtra-Pune, UP & Bihar, Tamil Nadu, Delhi & Rajasthan).
  • Identify and recruit high-potential consultants; execute onboarding, product training (program eligibility, pricing, timelines) and sales enablement.
  • Drive admissions targets primarily through consultant referrals; develop activation plans for low-performing partners.
  • Define, implement and manage commission structures, payout cycles and partner incentive programs.
  • Monitor partner performance (leads generated, application rate, conversion rate, yield) and deliver regular performance reviews.
  • Maintain strong partner relationships through regular check-ins, joint planning, and field visits.
  • Coordinate with marketing, university relations, and operations to enable partner success (campaigns, events, documentation).

Admissions & Counselling (20%)

  • Provide high-quality counselling to parents and learners on program fit, ROI, fees, academic outcomes and placements when escalations or high-intent prospects require it.
  • Handle objections, financial/academic concerns, and finalise admissions for priority leads.
  • Support end-to-end admission execution: application assistance, document verification, and enrolment coordination.



Strategy, Reporting & Coordination

  • Own regional admission strategy combining consultant network and direct counselling tactics.
  • Track funnel metrics in CRM: leads, applications, conversions, enrollments, revenue; maintain accurate, timely reports.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly admission and revenue targets; forecast performance.
  • Ensure compliance with university admission guidelines, documentation and timelines.
  • Train/mentor field sales and junior admissions staff where applicable.


Success Metrics / KPIs

  • Number of consultant partners onboarded and activated (monthly/quarterly).
  • Admissions generated via consultant network (absolute and % of regional target).
  • Conversion rate: consultant lead application enrollment.
  • Average admissions per consultant and consultant activation rate.
  • Revenue contributed and achievement vs. target.
  • Quality metrics: refund rate, dropout rate, student satisfaction (where applicable).


Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate / Postgraduate (Management, Education, Business or related).
  • 56 years of experience in university admissions, education consulting, channel/partner sales or EdTech admissions with demonstrable success in consultant-led admissions.
  • Proven ability to recruit, onboard and manage external consultants/channel partners.
  • Strong parent counselling skills and objection-handling capabilities.
  • Excellent relationship management, negotiation and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Target-driven, owns outcomes and thrives under pressure.
  • Comfortable with CRM systems and admission reporting (experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, or similar is a plus).
  • Willingness to travel frequently for partner visits and field work.


Compensation & Experience Band

  • CTC: As per the last CTC
  • Experience: 56 years in admission/consultant-led roles.
