Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced and driven Regional Sales Manager APAC to lead business development and sales initiatives across Singapore and the broader AsiaPacific region. This is a strategic, customerfacing role focused on growing market presence, managing key accounts, and building longterm relationships with defence, government, and enterprise customers.

The role will work closely with leadership teams at both ZEN Technologies and ARI, aligning regional sales strategies with organizational goals.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Drive regional sales growth across Singapore and the APAC region for ZEN and ARI solutions
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities in defence, government, and institutional markets
  • Manage the complete sales lifecycle from lead generation to closure
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline aligned with regional targets

Account & Relationship Management

  • Own and manage key strategic accounts in the region
  • Develop longterm relationships with customers, partners, distributors, and government stakeholders
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring high levels of trust and engagement

Market & Partner Development

  • Develop and manage regional channel partners, distributors, and agents
  • Track market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within APAC
  • Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to internal teams

Collaboration & Internal Alignment

  • Work closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams to align customer requirements with solutions
  • Coordinate with leadership and crossfunctional teams across ZEN and ARI
  • Support proposal development, technical discussions, and commercial negotiations

Forecasting & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain accurate sales forecasts and reports
  • Track progress against targets and provide regular updates to management
  • Ensure compliance with internal sales processes and governance requirements


Desired Profile

Experience

  • 815 years of experience in regional sales or business development roles
  • Proven track record of selling complex solutions, preferably in defence, simulation, aerospace, maritime, or technology sectors
  • Experience working with APAC markets, with strong familiarity with Singapore and neighbouring regions

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong relationshipbuilding and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to navigate long sales cycles and complex decisionmaking environments
  • Commercial acumen with strong negotiation and dealclosing abilities
  • Strategic thinker with handson execution capability
  • Comfortable working across cultures and geographies

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • MBA or equivalent qualification will be an advantage
